2219 Overview of Aviation hard aluminum-Aluminum-copper alloys
2219 aluminum alloy has high specific strength, low temperature and high temperature mechanical properties, high fracture toughness, good stress corrosion resistance and other characteristics, has been widely used in aerospace and aviation. 2219 aluminum alloy has been welded by tungsten electrode gas shielded welding, melting electrode gas shielded welding and other methods, but the joint strength only reaches 50%~60% of the base metal, and the welded joint has a large porosity tendency. The use of Friction stirwelding (FSW) technology can better maintain the mechanical properties of the base material, welding deformation is small, the residual stress is low, and can eliminate the welding defects generated during fusion welding, so that there are no pores and cracks in the weld area of the rear joint, the joint strength can reach 90% of the base metal.

Heat treatment process
1) Annealing temperature: 415° C.
2) Solution temperature: 535℃. Jiangsu Yi
3) The aging temperature is 165-190 ° C when the temperature is 18-36h. For different states, the appropriate combination of aging time and temperature is also different.
